① check whether the internal leakage increases due to abrasion and strain between the plunger of the small hydraulic press pump and the hole of the cylinder body, and the joint surface of the oil distribution plate and the cylinder body. Leakage loss of energy converted into heat energy will cause temperature rise. It can repair the gap between the plunger and the cylinder, make it slip, and make the cylinder of the small hydraulic press close to the end face of the oil distribution plate.

② check whether the pump of small hydraulic press often operates under zero eccentricity or system pressure below 8MPa, which makes the leakage loss of the pump too small, thus the heat taken away by the oil discharge is too small and causes the heating of the pump body. When the high-pressure high-flow pump is used as a pump lower than the small-flow pump, it will cause the pump to heat up. A branch pipe can be diverted at the oil return pipe of the valve of the small hydraulic press, and it can be introduced into the oil discharge port at the lower part of the oil return of the oil pump to make the pump body produce cyclic cooling.

③ check whether other kinematic pairs in the pump of the small hydraulic press are brushed or not, or because the burrs are not cleaned up, the mechanical friction is large, and it is loose, causing heating. Wear parts can be repaired or replaced.

④ check the oil viscosity of small hydraulic press. The viscosity of the oil is too large, and the internal friction force is too large; The viscosity of the oil is too low, and the internal leakage is too large. Both cases produce heating temperature rise. Oil viscosity must be selected according to regulations.

⑤ check the pump bearing. The bearing of the pump is worn out, and the transmission is not strong, which makes the transmission torque increase and heat up. The qualified bearing should be replaced, and the motor of the small hydraulic press should be ensured to be concentric with the pump shaft.
