Reasons for Abnormal Flow in a 400-Ton Hydraulic Press

Reasons for Abnormal Flow in a 400-Ton Hydraulic Press:

1. If the hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic system is excessively contaminated, impurities may accumulate and adhere to the walls of the hydraulic system pipes. This leads to a reduction in the flow area, slowing down the speed of the actuator. If the flow is blocked, it may suddenly increase when impurities or contaminants are washed away.

2. When hydraulic oil passes through throttling clearances, pressure loss occurs, causing localized temperature increase in the hydraulic oil. Oxidation and deterioration of the oil can result in the separation of rubber, asphalt, or carbon residue, depositing on the walls of the throttling pipe and reducing the flow area. In severe cases, it can even block effective fluid passages.

3. Due to vibrations or other reasons in the 400-ton hydraulic press, if the throttling valve is adjusted and locked, loosening of the locking bolts or adjustment rod on the support sleeve may occur. This can alter the throttling valve's opening, leading to changes in flow.

4. Throttling valve spools use gap sealing, leading to a certain amount of leakage. Wear and increased clearance due to wear can result in increased leakage, particularly at low flow rates, directly impacting flow stability.

5. Elevated oil temperatures reduce the viscosity of the hydraulic fluid, causing unstable flow velocities.

6. Sudden changes in the speed of the load on the throttling valve can result in abnormal flow in the axial pressure loading system. Check hydraulic system pressure, the functioning of pressure relief devices, and control of the relief valve. Perform necessary repairs to address any issues.
