Causes and Solutions for Excessive Vibration and Noise in the Main Cylinder of a Three-Beam Four-Column Hydraulic Press
.Introduction of Air into the Main Cylinder: When air enters the hydraulic system, it can lead to vibration and noise in the main cylinder during pressurization. To address this, the hydraulic system and air in the main cylinder should be purged when the machine is stopped.
.Presence of Impurities or Iron Filings in the Main Cylinder: Impurities or iron filings in the main cylinder can cause friction with the piston rod. Surface damage to the piston rod leads to tight fits, resulting in dry friction and mechanical noise. Immediate shutdown and equipment inspection are necessary. Depending on wear, repair or replacement of the piston rod is recommended, and hydraulic oil should be filtered.
.Unstable Hydraulic System Pressure: Fluctuating pressure in the hydraulic system can cause vibration and substantial noise during processing. Hydraulic shock may occur. Check the reasons for the unstable pressure, including voltage instability, and address the issue accordingly.
.Aging or Severe Wear of Seals: Aging or severe wear of seals in the main cylinder can lead to significant noise and vibrations during operation. Prompt replacement of worn seals is required to restore proper functioning.
.Malfunction in the Control System: Faults in the control system can result in uneven pressurization and operation speed, causing vibration and loud noise in the main cylinder. Inspect the control system and limit switches to identify and resolve any issues.
