Precautions for Starting the 500-Ton Four-Column Hydraulic Press
Precautions for Starting the 500-Ton Four-Column Hydraulic Press
Attention to detail during the startup of a 500-ton four-column hydraulic press is crucial. Below are the recommended steps for the proper initiation of the hydraulic press:
1. Inspect whether the oil pump, control valve, and pressure gauge of the 500-ton four-column hydraulic press are functioning correctly, and ensure that the oil temperature is within the permissible range.
2. Examine the molds for cracks and check if the fastening screws are secure.
3. Turn on the power switch of the four-column hydraulic press and start the cooling cycle motor.
4. Initiate the main oil pump motor of the 500-ton four-column hydraulic press.
5. Check the oil level in each tank using the oil level gauge. Inspect various oil routes and hydraulic pipe fittings for any signs of oil leakage, and ensure that all connections are secure.
6. Inspect the pressure gauge for the movement of the pressure pointer. If there is any swinging or lack of movement, stop the machine and check the equipment's rated pressure. Operating beyond the specified limits is not permitted.
7. Examine and clean any debris on the working table or molds of the 500-ton hydraulic press.
8. Set the working mode switch to position 0 for manual operation. Check the reliability of the limit switches on the moving crossbeam, ensuring the four-column hydraulic press's hydraulic system has no unusual sounds. Verify the flexibility and reliability of photoelectric eyes, operation buttons, emergency stop switches, and safety protection devices.
9. Once everything is confirmed to be normal, select the desired working mode using the work mode switch.
